Entering the DCIO market  Building a UK business plan based on lessons from the US

DCIO is the acronym for the ‘investment only’ provision by asset managers of investment products direct to schemes and to platforms and other distributors in the DC market. The market is in its infancy in the UK, but is mature in the US. Lessons can be learned from US precedents. This study pinpoints what the most important lessons might be, and how these can be translated into predictions for the UK, and inputs for business planning for entering this market.

The Five Futures Studies series draws on industry-wide thinking to create five scenarios to describe the range of likely outcomes in each of seven investment related business areas, listed here (with publication dates).
